Project - Pitch to Install
For adidas's latest collaboration, they paired with Rick+Morty to release the latest X football boots.
The task was simple, create an immersive product focus display, that would elevate the collaboration and appeal to the Gen Z audience.

The key to this brief was to create a perfect balance between highlighting the new X football boot and elevating the collaboration. This was achieved by incorporating elements from the Rick & Morty franchise, blending them with the product in fun and creative ways to create an immersive retail display.
On entry, visitors were welcomed by a 360° display that immersed them within the Rick and Morty multiverse crossover. We created a giant energy chamber boot display for the centrepiece that appeared to teleport into the store from the floor.
Beyond that were Rick and Morty inspired shrink ray guns that highlighted the product, paired with screens playing the campaign film.
Additional elements around the Launch Zone helped to further tell the story.
From scamps and renders to installation - the retail display was live for 6 weeks during the launch of the X Speedportal boot.
Visitors who purchased a football-related item, were provided with a sequenced code for a Rick and Morty-inspired problem-solving mechanic within the display area, providing some lucky visitors with £100 of adidas vouchers.
